1.Policy Overview

This Online Payment Policy ("Policy") governs financial transactions conducted on Skillsaxis.com (the "Platform"), operated by Skills Axis LLC ("Skills Axis," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, booking a session, purchasing any service, subscribing, or making any payment through the Platform, you agree to this Policy and acknowledge responsibility for all tuition, fees, subscriptions, and related charges billed to your account.

Non-Payment Consequences Failure to pay on time may result in account suspension, access restrictions, cancellation of sessions, withholding of results where applicable, and disruption of Services.

2.Eligible Payers

  • Students aged 18+.
  • Parents or legal guardians, required for minors under 18.
  • Authorized institutions or educators acting on behalf of students.

3.Accepted Payment Methods

We use secure, encrypted payment gateways and third-party processors designed for PCI-DSS compliance. The Platform may accept the following payment methods:

  • ACH / Direct Debit: subject to NACHA Operating Rules.
  • Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and supported regional wallets.
  • PayPal.
  • Checks: U.S. residents only; Services activate upon clearance.

We do not store full credit card numbers or full banking credentials. Payment details are processed by certified third-party processors.

4.Currency & International Payments

  • All transactions are processed in USD.
  • Users are responsible for bank fees, international charges, and currency conversion costs.
  • Currency conversions follow the exchange rate of the processing bank or payment provider at the time of the transaction.

5.Pricing & Fees

  • Pricing is displayed transparently at checkout and/or in invoices before payment is submitted.
  • Fees may vary based on academic level, urgency, subject complexity, timeline, and tutor expertise.
  • We may adjust pricing; changes do not affect previously paid Services.

6.Billing Authorization & Subscriptions

By submitting payment information, you authorize Skills Axis LLC and its processors to charge the payment method you provide for one-time purchases, subscription renewals, applicable taxes, and any other amounts you authorize at checkout.

6.1 Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle, as described at checkout or in your account settings.

7.Late Payments & Failed Transactions

  • Declined, failed, returned, or reversed payments may lead to temporary suspension or restriction of Services.
  • We may reattempt processing for overdue balances.
  • Repeated payment failure may result in account termination.

Outstanding balances remain payable even after account termination.

8.Refund Policy

8.1 Eligibility for Refunds

  • Cancellation within the applicable cancellation window.
  • Tutor unavailability or non-delivery of agreed Services.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges.

8.2 Non-Refundable Situations

  • Services already delivered or substantially completed.
  • Missed sessions due to user lateness or absence.
  • Dissatisfaction related to grades, exam results, or personal expectations.
  • Violations of academic integrity policies.

8.3 Refund Process

  • Requests must be submitted in writing within 7-14 days of the service date or purchase date for certain products.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
  • Processing time is typically 5-15 business days, depending on the payment provider.

9.Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be canceled or rescheduled with 24-48 hours notice, as shown at booking or checkout.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged in full.
  • Subscriptions must be canceled before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges.

10.Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Users should contact Skills Axis LLC before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized or bad-faith chargebacks may result in account suspension, denial of future service, and submission of transaction evidence to financial institutions or payment networks.

11.Taxes

  • Applicable U.S. sales tax or digital services taxes may be applied based on jurisdiction.
  • Users are responsible for complying with local tax obligations.

12.Academic Integrity & Payment Consequences

  • Payments do not guarantee academic outcomes, grades, or exam results.
  • Services are for tutoring, academic guidance, and educational support only.
  • Violations of academic integrity may result in immediate termination of Services without refund.

13.Data Security & Privacy

We use security measures designed to protect payment data and personal information, including encryption and the use of third-party processors. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and relevant data laws, including GDPR where applicable.

14.Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts due to:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious payment activity.
  • Repeated failed transactions.
  • Violations of this Policy or our Terms of Service.
  • Outstanding balances, which remain payable even after termination.

15.Policy Modifications

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
